Any of you have a Sixth Sense?

Have any of you had an experience regarding your Sixth Sense?

I believe that everybody has one, though most aren't put to use. But, do you believe that you have a mild-strong one?

meh...I grew up Native American, so Ghost's are major in my family....I see them....sometimes they are scary....like there's this one ghost who lives in the house I am renting at the moment.

She's this old lady. Her skin was very gray/pale. Her hair was white and put up in a bun. The clothing was something like the 1900's. The thing that got me most, was that she had no eye's. That freaked me out. My mother didn't see her, but she did feel that she was around. My little sister saw her, and she throws things at my father. She's a very active ghost.

I'm not as active as my cousin, mother, or grandmother. I think a sixth sense runs in the family on my Mom's side. I think I only recieved a little bit of it.

Although I've never seen a ghost (THANK GOODNESS, or else I'd be scared in my house, crying), I can hear things that no one else seem to catch whether it's in complete silence or a background noise that doesn't seem to be made from inside the room I'm in. Sometimes I just freeze up and listen to my surroundings to make sure I'm safe or not.

Well most people have the ability to see ghost as young children. They just lose it as the grow older. For those who do see it everyday...I feel sorry for them, I mean, I see them every once in awhile, not enough to bug me, but enough to make it freak me out a bit. Most ghost I have seen aren't bad at all.

What do you mean by.. bad?

hum, bad as those who can hurt you. I have rarely seen those. They just like to scare people.

I believe that the brain sees what it wants to see, everybody has a Chakra, though we have been trained that the supernatural do not exist. I believe that they exist in some alternate layer of light that we cannot see, after all, Dogs can hear dog whistles, but we can't-why not the same for supernatural beings?

Haha funny you mention that. First time I saw the Bowler Hat Girl after closing the menu in The Calling I convinced myself it was just Rin's hand as she put the phone away. But later I saw that it was a person. It's like an, "Oh, it was just my imagination" moment.

That reminds me, people say that if your ears ring (tinnitus) it's....hmm.....ghosts. Ghosts trying to contact you or something, or that ghosts are around. I have ringing in my ears all the time, and it's almost the same as the sound you hear when ghosts show up in The Calling. Sometimes I have a sharper ring in my ears, like the hearing test to make sure your ears are alright, and then it goes away. There's still a quiet ringing even after it stops. Sometimes when everything else is quiet the ringing is really loud. It gets annoying. I think I've had ringing in my ears as long as I could remember. It's more frequent now, though. Before it was just at random times and now it's pretty much all the time.

I think that is just tinnitus, but what do you think, since we're on the subject of sixth senses and not medical explanations? Anyone else have or has had ringing in their ears?

That's scary as hell!

Tinnitus is actually a strong indicator of dangerously high blood pressure affecting your inner ear. If you have tinnitus often, you should definitely get it checked out.

As for having a sixth sense, I can sometimes predict who's calling me on the phone (without caller ID, of course), what people are going to say, and other small things like that. I get a creepy feeling that freaks me out a lot, but I get it so often that I'm trying to just chalk it up to paranoia so I can stop thinking it actually means something every time, since nothing usually happens.

Anyways, I have a very strong sixth sense-I can actually talk to the Shadows (that's what I call them, as they almost always appear in that form)

High blood pressure, huh...? Eeee...that sucks. I thought my blood pressure was fine (I mean recently I got it checked when I went to donate blood and it was good) but I have never really talked about the ears ringing to a doctor. I'll see. In the meantime though I run (even though I play video games a lot and eat well so I think I'm okay for now.
I think high blood pressure might be genetic in my family. :/

What are they usually doing, like harmful or just kind of there? Do they have eyes or anything else?

Don't worry too much - from your history, it sounds like you should be okay. I went through a time of getting tinnitus a lot too, but when I got my blood pressure checked, they said it was perfect. It could also be a problem with your eardrum. My mom has a perforated eardrum (there's a tiny hole in one of them), and she has CONSTANT tinnitus. I can't even imagine how annoying that must be.

Sometimes listening to music makes it worse (especially if the music's loud). You used to have it? Well I'm glad you don't anymore, it is super annoying and sometimes it makes it hard to go to sleep. I think I have tinnitus all or most of the time, but usually, the daily noise makes it so I can't hear the ringing all the time which is nice....a perforated eardrum sounds terrible.

I once had a strong six-sense when I was little, I could see/hear/sense them without any problem, but nowadays... what I can do is only hear faint whispers and able to sense their presence but only sometimes, most of the time I can tell they're there when the atmosphere in an area seems heavy to me all of a sudden, or location with different smells than what it should be

(been experiencing that in my uni every night whenever I walk past the lecturer's corridor near midnight, yea I do night revisions there and I can smell something weird through that corridor)

a year ago i could only sense hostile spirits but now the day im getting better at also pinpointing where the friendly ones are and I'm also starting to see them

for instance:
I stayed over at a friend's place end last year( in september i think)
And it was like I was on the matress facing the hallway and i could see the stairs clearly, her sister walked up as some of my friends walked out to do a dare XD, but then I saw a pair of legs walk down, but no body attached to it and judging from the look of the people that were in the living room with me I wasn't the only one who saw it

Well, it's more like I have the mix of an empath and a medium in me...I can see ghosts but only when I'm under a certain emotion. I can mostly feel and hear them. (Feeling being the most active ability)

I do have ghosts in my house, including the ghost of a 13 year old boy who likes to follow me around. I also have ghosts in my all girl's college, who I tend to feel very strongly. (Luckily I met my room mate and my friend Laurie who are both very strong psychics, they were able to show I wasn't crazy and actually saw the boy who follows me around.)

^_^ I at first get scared that I have this ability, but I try to relax knowing it isn't as strong...but if there is a negative presence about, I am just as strong as any other psychic.

I have been seeing more things lately, like people or animals (we have cats, so I think it was a cat) that aren't there. I thought I saw a figure standing by my door last night and I actually yelled, I was pretty startled. Not sure all that's my imagination or what (I think it is, I don't have a really super sixth sense...)

I was freaked, but I don't think any of what I've seen was "bad", thankfully.

Anyway, I hope I'm not going crazy. And I still haven't gotten an eye exam.

Oh, I'm sure you're not crazy! -^_^- Sounds scary though, try and watch your door tonight, see if the figure comes back. If you feel brave enough, even ask it questions! I tend to do that every once in awhile, and I use the sound recorder in my cellphone to record it. (LOL calling reference!)

Mmhm, I usually talk to my two friends, as well as Niya whenever I see something strange or if they see something strange. We always try to help each other, no matter what.

In The Sims computer game, ghosts always came at night when it was 12:00 or 1:00. Sometimes they'd wake my people up to scare them. It was kind of funny, and sometimes the ghosts swam in the Sims' swimming pool.
That reminds me, people say ghosts swim in the pools on the Queen Mary ship. I think the TAPS guys on Ghost Hunters checked it (or at least another famous ship) out once, though, and it was pretty interesting.

I have one... It's how I got my current job (as a "Psychic Medium" I still don't really know weather it's good or bad though >_<)... Though I really detest it sometimes because we only seem to deal with people that were very angry... or lonely... when they passed on... >_> ... It got in the way alot when I was in school... and it's given me a unfounded fear of mirrors, which bugs the hell out of the people I work with when we have to stay in a hotel and the first thing I do is cover all the mirrors that I can find in thick sheets... haha ... good times making them mad though XD
