| Anyone a fan of Resident Evil?
I've been one since the good early days. Now the games just seem to be action-oriented, with no means of survival horror at all. The developers also said that the next game (Resident Evil 6, not Portable) will be a complete reboot of the series. Though I can't wait, I still long for the zombies and lickers.

| Which one?
I love all of them, but I hate how the newer ones are all action-oriented. Whatever happened to Survival Horror?

| I'm not a hardcore Resident Evil fan, but I am a big fan : )
I have the Resident Evil REmake, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 4 for Gamecube.
I think I sold my Code Veronica X, I'm not sure. |

| I'm a fan of Resident Evil, owning Resident Evil REmake, 4, and Darkside Chronicles, for the Wii. I've also torrented the original versions of RE 1-4 for the PC. I've played 5, and while Chris is hot, I kind of like the older games better. Still a great game though. | |

| I'm a big fan. Here's a list of the ones I own:
Resident Evil: Director's Cut Dual Shock (PS) Resident Evil 2 (PS) Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS) Resident Evil: Code Veronica X Resident Evil (GC) Resident Evil 4 (PS2) Resident Evil 5 (360, PS3) Resident Evil Outbreak (PS2) Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (DS)
And I have Darkside Chronicles and Umbrella Chronicles on hold at my local GameStop. I just got a Wii yesterday and could only afford Muramasa, Calling, and Fragile Dreams in one go.
Leon's my favorite by a few light years, but Chris is pretty cool. Never though so until 5, but they did a really good job. Jill's my favorite chick, and Wesker is a love-to-hate villain. 2 will always, always be my favorite, though.

| Shooting zombies in the face never gets old, but like you say Simon, it should be more survival-horror than action. Most of the scares are cheap "made you jump" kind, not the psychological type that survival-horros should use. But of them, I've played 4 and Outbreak, seen Code: Veronica X and Remake. | |

| I love Resident Evil! I actually think the more action-oriented Resident Evil games (Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5) are better than the originals. But maybe that's because the first Resident Evil game I played was Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. I also have Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Edition for the Nintendo 3DS. | |
