I want to visit the Mnemonic Abyss

I personally think that it would be a great experience if I make it out alive. How about you? Would you like to go to the Mnemonic Abyss?

I would really not like to go there, but to ensure you made it out alive, I'd go with you.

I mean it's better if two people are together, helping each other out, usually. And it's less scary, too, if someone else is with you, even if you're in a strange place. If I had to go to the Mnemonic Abyss, I'd want to be travelling with someone else. I guess transporting would get difficult, though. I wonder if one cell phone would transport two people?

I'd love to go but I'm freak. I do think I'd be traveling the abyss alone since I like working alone. I would try to help people I come across, might even stay with them if I think they are struggling. I don't scare easily so I might last a while, only problem is I walk slower than Chiyo.

As for two people transporting on one phone might be possible if both are touching it.

On terms of WANTING to visit the Mnemonic Abyss, like if it really existed, then no. I would probably be curious about it, but I wouldn't want to be sucked into that nightmare.

However, with my luck and curiousity (like a black cat, haha), I'd probably be sucked into the Mnemonic Abyss anyways. I kinda like Shin, I love ALL things occult, even the most scariest things about Japan. I spend some brave nights looking up japanese ghost videos and photo slideshows on YouTube. If you watch them long enough, you could swear that the ghosts were coming after you.

I had a prediction about this thread as well.

Dammit, I love that cherry icon, I want to use it as much as possible. Lol. I would not want to go, but if I knew that I would make it out alive (and that I would travel with people), I would totally go. It all depends on the outcome, though.

Well it IS just a matter of time as we are all in the Black Page, BUT, Simon in the admin so he will call us and get us into the Mnemonic Abyss.
Simon won't have a black cat tho, he will have a laughing cherry like this one ->
The cherry will randomly lock doors behind you, so you won't go back into the wrong direction (or get back to the good one as cherries usually aren't smart).
In Simon's Mnemonic Abyss, there will be HD, which makes it easier to find the smaller things as they wont be 1 pixel size.
You will also, get information about the Abyss and other people, as he wishes that people travel together. The information will lead you to room like the Geek Room, where you will wake up the person there, and explore the Abyss together.
Also, you will be able to read Japanese, as Simon would want you to be able to know what the signs are saying.
Randomly breaking glass won't be heard anymore because our almighty Simon didn't hear it. (ghaha )
Instead, you will heard only the sound of absolute silence.. which is pretty scary at some moments. O.O
Also, you will encounter the girl in red more often, which will give you the need to find out everything about her. You will also check your email every day, to see of you got a Red Envelope/Email.
You will not have a phone like in Calling, but a Blackberry, because Simon loves his. This WILL give you an advantage of 3G internet on you cellphone, thus looking into the ghost story about the building you are in.

Let's see if more people have ideas about the Mnemonic Abyss Simon will get us in.

Ok Simon, just warn us before you're going to take us to the Mnemonic Abyss so we can be prepared.

Also, let's decide on a meeting place for later so the people who want to stay together can break into groups or pairs, and then the people who want to go solo can start to explore on their own.

I've been wondering about this for a while....does anyone think the characters have to eat in the Mnemonic Abyss? There are already toilets in the Abyss so that's taken care of but I wonder if the characters ever get hungry or if there is no hunger when you're in limbo. It's not really mentioned, so maybe they don't have to eat (though then again there is a kitchen in the Mnemonic Abyss so maybe if they'd brought food they could cook stuff).

Another thing I was wondering about was if after Reiko called everyone, they passed out, and only their consciousness or spirits went to the Mnemonic Abyss. We heard a conversation between some girls, and they said the guy who found the three high school girls saw they were passed out and that their images were on the computer monitor. Maybe that means the Mnemonic Abyss is in the computer?

The three girls did die but the group is still alive, even though the counter goes up four at the beginning. Also, Chiyo was

I believe the mnemonic abyss would be worth a visit, it seems very very very interesting! I wonder what it's be like... It would be so awesome if they created an amusement park complete with supernatural things, one could be a hospital or school like in the Calling.
