| So, should there be a sequel? Or do you think that Calling should be left as a stand-alone game.
Regardless, Hudson Soft has hinted at a new Calling game. Read the Global Announcement posted up on each section of the forums.

| Yes! I think it should branch out into a large series, like RE or Fatal Frame. | |

| A sequel would make the branch bigger (and thus more profitable), so in my opinion this is what will be the best for Hudson to do. Regardless of that fact, it would be really nice to have a sequel. | |

| I wasn't sure, but now I think a sequel would be awesome too. I don't know if having it be a huge series would be good, maybe three or something, like a trilogy. But whatever would be fine.
I saw all of your ideas in the "Sequel Ideas" thread. They were really good. I decided to add some too. I think your ideas made my imagination start working again.

| Yes. I want this to be a big fat Silent Hill/Fatal Frame/Resident Evil series. | |

There is however one disadvantage about it.. As the branch gets bigger, more people with different interests will buy it, which MIGHT lead to a change of game type. Silent Hill already changed in my opinion, and RE isn't as it used to be (RE4 was more a survival shooter if you ask me..). The Fatal Frame series is still small compared to SH and RE, that is what probably keeps it in the genre. Because these days, when i.e. Hudson can make more money out of Calling by changing the game type, they won't hesitate to do so.

| Fatal Frame is still "alive" in my opinion. I could see Calling as something similar to Fatal Frame. | |

Yes true, but if the branch get's bigger, it might kill Calling, that's what I meant

I want them to keep the creepy style that Calling is known for, but I am hopeful for a sequel. More than anything, I want to solve the mystery of the Lady in Red.

| I like Calling's present game style and hope they'd keep it too. I'd like to, too...but the question is...would I be brave enough to solve it? Hahaha Probably not.... | |

| I think another game would be great as long as it doesnt change the idea too much. I like Serasia's idea of a trilogy. That gives it room to grow but it isnt too big for other companies to make cheap rip offs and ruin the main idea of Calling itself. | |

| I want a sequel but I don't want the series to become too expansive like Resi Evil or Silent Hill, I'd personally prefer a trilogy of games. | |

| it would be great if they made a sequel! not only for the fact that they would make money from it but that the fans would get to see the next step in the game like if kuroneko is happy and moved on or if someone else took over the abyss lol plot twist xD | |

| A sequal to Calling would be great. Maybe Reiko wasn't the only malevolent ghost in the Mnemonic Abyss. Maybe the Abyss is far greater than what we've seen. A sequal could explore that area. | |
